Short and long-term opportunities for contacts among faculty at UAS7 and our partner institutions are a central plank of the UAS7 internationalization strategy. In addition to promoting individual faculty development and consolidating institutional partnerships, these faculty contacts support the effective integration of student experiences abroad. In some cases, supplementary funding may be available to support faculty exchanges.
When hosting faculty members from our partner institutions, we provide office space, assistance with housing and other logistics, and integration into a community of scholars engaged in practice-oriented teaching and applied research. Depending on your availability and the needs of the host department, you can spend from one week to two years at a UAS7 campus. Depending on the length of your commitment, you may also have the opportunity to develop connections with scholars in your field throughout the UAS7 consortium. All guest faculty collaborate with faculty at their host UAS with deep roots in business and industry in the region.
Funding for faculty from our partner universities intersted in a guest lectureship of at least three months at a UAS7 university is available through the DAAD Visiting Professorship Program. Classes may be taught in English or in German. Please contact
about securing an invitation. Once an appropriate department has been identified and the invitation has been secured, the host institution will apply for funding on your behalf.
